1. How do I get my content on Northwest-TV?

We want to be able to offer every outlet a chance to have their content featured on Northwest-TV but not every submission will be placed. After you contact us with your submission we can determine options for placement.   

2. After you have approved our content how do we get it to Northwest-TV?

You can use several online file upload services though we prefer Dropbox. They offer a free service which allows 2GB of storage space and you can sign up at www.dropbox.com You can also send us your youtube and vimeo links for review.

3. Do you only post videos relating to things going on in the Northwest?

Yes our primary concern is being a outlet for the Northwest region and we don’t want to take away from our primary purpose. If you have material featuring northwest artists we do allow that under our affiliates section.

4. What are the different categories on Northwest TV?

We have four main areas of content for Northwest-TV. Below is a brief description if you are unsure about where your content might go contact us.   

Music Videos – Artist videos from anywhere in the northwest or affiliated artists.
Promotional – Commercials, Single Promotion, Event Promotions
Live & Direct – Behind The Scenes, Show Footage, Battles, Event Coverage.
Interviews – Audio or Video Interviews

5. What format should video be in and how long can it be?

The preferred format for video content is .mp4 but others are accepted. Please limit any video content to 10 minutes or less in length.

6. What do I need to include with my video?

Please include any relevant information you want to be included such as websites, social links, contact information, director information,  and album information.

7. Is there any cost involved for me getting my video on Northwest-TV?

It is completely free to get your video on Northwest-TV and once your submission is accepted you go into a queue. We do have premium options for anyone that wants priority.  

8. What are the premium options and how can my video can get priority?

Yes we do offer a premium option which allows your video to be on the site same or next day for $20. This allows the video to be in the featured videos area and a featured banner will appear on your video which makes it standout in the archives versus other videos.

9. What are your payment options for advertising and promotion?

A) We currently take paypal for all payment options and will do cash if your local with a receipt given for all transactions. B) If you offer a service and are willing to offer a discounts that can be worked as well. C) The last option is more catered towards artist as we will take CD’s in exchange for adverting/promotional costs. D) If you have other ideas in trading for payment please don’t hesitate to contact us.      

10. What are the different banners on the videos?

We have four different banners that you may see on videos as they go live on our site.

Featured – Premium paid videos that will appear in the featured video player as well as have a banner that says featured in the archive.
Exclusive – Videos that are either provided by us at Northwest-TV, video premieres, or exclusive content you are submitting solely for our outlet. Just because you are supplying it to us does not mean it will get the exclusive tag, it has to be proper content.  
Hall Of Fame – A video that reaches 5,000 views.
Hot – A video that has a quick rise in hits once it airs live on the site.

11. What advertising opportunities does Northwest-TV offer?

We have several advertising opportunities we offer including banners and background advertisements. We have three locations where banners will appear on Northwest-TV.

12. I am a director how do I get into the directors section?

If you would like to be in our directors section simply fill out the following and email us the information with a company logo or personal picture.

13. What is the channels section and how do I get my own channel?

The channels section allows for certain outlets in the Northwest who have a viable presence be recognized. Having a channel does not mean you have free reign to add content at your will. The purpose of a channel is to bring attention to your outlet and help build its presence along with out outlet. If you feel you deserve a channel please contact us.

14. How do I get my project in the downloads section and featured?

All the downloads currently supplied are from our partner site thanorthwest.com. Submitting your project for download is free and  it will appear on both sites. There are two ways to get us your project which is you can mail us a copy of the project or email us a zipfile, also include the following when sending a zip file.

- Graphics in at least 1500 x 1500 size with front/back insert
- All music must be in MP3 format.
- A short bio on yourself or the project you are submitting.
- Any relevant links to your website or social links.

15. How do I get my song in Record Breakers section?

This is a section with the primary purpose of helping Northwest artists build and push singles before their projects release. Something the rest of the music world is very reliant on seems to be missing from the region. Your song will be up for free download and stream-able on the main page of the site. You must have the following to submit!

- Dirty Version Of Song (Optional: Clean, Instrumental, Accappela)
- Artwork (Must Have)
- Short Bio
